Trading happens at the Trade Resort. Collectors use it for gleamings, Secret Ability Loomians, event forms, and ranch results. It is also where scams cluster. The Resort prompt is the trade. A person in chat is not.
Before you confirm
- Open the offered Loomian's summary inside the Resort window.
- Check species, gleaming tier, ability, and whether the Loomian is the form you asked for.
- Cancel if the summary does not match the chat message. The window is the offer.
- Do not hand a Loomian to a middleman who promises to hold it while someone else pays. That is not a studio system.
- Do not buy or sell Loomians for Robux or off-platform money. Players report trade bans for real-money deals, and no palette is worth the Resort lock.
The beginner Loomian from the Mitis Town laboratory cannot be traded. If a trade window rejects that partner, that is the rule, not a glitch. A rallied or purchased beginner can move.
What this page will not pretend to know
A trading revamp, including broader Loomian trades and item trades, was discussed while Route 9 was still unreleased. The October 30, 2026 launch post describes overworld encounters, the new map, expeditions, and raids. It does not say item trading is on. Use the trade types the Resort offers today.
Color tags on the summary are worth reading, but published color legends do not all agree with the type names used in battle. If a marker's tooltip and a guide disagree, believe the tooltip on your screen.
After the trade
A traded gleaming still needs Personality and Unique Points checked. A traded story partner will not know your Training Points plan until you invest them. Store the result before you start another offer so a misclick cannot select it again.
